For submissions:

It is the responsibility of the authors to submit papers that comply with all the requirements of the publisher (adequate format and style, correct English, etc.) so that they are in final form ready for publications. Contributions should not exceed 8 pages and a total maximum of 6 (six) either tables, graphs or images are accepted per paper (i.e.: 2 tables + 2 graphs + 2 images, or any other possible combination of them).

After the conference, authors will have six weeks to make any changes or adjustments required by the Editorial Committee of CLABIO 2018. Please take notice that authors will not be sent proofs of their papers. Finally, the agreement signed with the JOPCS establishes that authors:

“…have applied for, and obtained, permission to reproduce in electronic form (and print form, where appropriate) any copyright materials to be included in the Work. It is the responsibility of individual authors to obtain copyright permission; the Publisher’s staff are unable to undertake this on their behalf. Failure to obtain copyright permissions can result in significant delays to publication. Copyright permissions must be supplied to the Publisher at the same time as the electronic files and no later than the Submission Date.”

Authors will be charged 70 GBP (Great Britain Pounds) per paper, an amount that has to be paid in Colombian pesos (COP) at the moment of registration.

The two best papers presented in the Conference will be awarded a prize each, as well as a written certificate stating this achievement. Selection criteria will be published later.

The organizers of CLABIO 2018 have also decided to accept posters that show projects in their early stages (i.e. with very little or no experimental data), so that the authors have the opportunity of getting some feedback from the experts attending the conference, who will select the best poster. The best poster will have the opportunity to be published (as a poster) in the special issue of the JOPCS dedicated to the conference. The basis of the competition and the prizes will be published later, before the conference starts. Posters should be 100 cm wide x 150 cm high and contain the same sections as full papers. You will find the template here (RECIPE FOR THE PREPARATION OF THE POSTER).

The best poster presented in the Conference will be awarded a prize each, as well as a written certificate stating this achievement. Selection criteria will be published later.
